Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Good News for Glencoe

According to this article it is being bought as a going concern. All it needs now is snow.
I recall my only visit many years ago when it was raining at the car park level, soaking horizontal sleet half way up the access chair, a trudge across the plateau and near white-out conditions on the slopes. Not the best day's skiing I've had. But better than none at all.

Anybody know who Neil Tait and David Cameron are?

Ian and Ian. I agree. It's really 'uplifting' to hear that this unique and very special ski mountain is to be saved. There's more discussion about these latest developments on the local Winterhighland.com forum.

Not really that encouraging.

Glencoe and Glenshee are both for sale by the same company. There are only two permanent employees in Glencoe and wouldn't take much to save I would have thought.

Glenshee is biggest in UK and has a lot more staff. There is no taker for it yet.

Still it is good news to the UK punters.
