 Poster: A snowHead
|
Just sorting out a trip in January to VT.
Every aspect of my trip is refundable or flexible but I’m struggling with flights.
EasyJet stop the flexible ticket policy after Oct so completely at risk for Jan flights.
Anyone know of any solutions from NW airports? Or general advice.
Thx

BA are completely flexible for journeys up until 31 August 2022 but most ski flights go from LGW or LHR. Could you get a cheap train to London?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I`ve never flown with Easyjet but I had a precedent with an English airline

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@MorningGory, be careful you might not be welcoming to a newbie but yes registering as a new user in order to post a completely irrelevant post looks like a spambot particularly when it repeats previous wording.

@surferrosa, He'll probably have the same problem I did. Plenty of cheap tickets to get there, but bl**dy expensive to get back again, particularly on Saturdays.
Plus, at the moment, you don't know how long the delays will be on return due to Covid certifications etc. Do you book a train hoping you will get through fairly quickly, or do you allow extra time and end up sitting around for a few hours? Cheaper train tickets aren't flexible.
I've booked on the Psb, flights from LHR. Opted to drive and park due to uncertainty. Extra couple of hours from NW.

Update: EasyJet just released flights for £40 from Liverpool.
Booked as it’s money that’s not hard to lose if lockdown hits.

Glad it got sorted but if travel becomes impossible again I should think we will see the flexibility return. Here’s hoping that won’t be necessary…
