Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Getting back from Austria

My son has been in Kufstein for 12 months on his year out from Uni. He finishes at the end of July but has holiday to take and can work from home for the last 2 weeks and so will finish there on 2nd July. Under normal circumstances I'd drive down and pick him up but obviously that's pretty tough at present - Germany and Austria are essentially closed to UK citizens. He could fly back from Munich but has a TV, Computer Screen, Ski's, an Electric Guitar and Amp and so not particularly easy to travel with.
I just thought I'd post to see if anyone has any ideas, is coming back to the UK or are moving to Austria and have something coming back empty.

@downhillalltheway, try anyvan. Ive moved stuff very cheaply across Europe before- you post what you need and you get quotes/ offers.

sell his TV, computer screen, ski's, guitar & amp? back in UK buy second hand or new TV, computer screen, ski's, guiter & amp.

The expense to bring that kit home is prob not worth it (even if driving), unless he is attached to them.
