Snow Reports

Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Obviously
A snowHead
isn't a real person
Even with the warning, I'm not sure that 8th image was called for, some things can't be unseen
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Salomon
Inspired by the quality time spent on the trails with our favorite 4-legged runners and drawing on our trail running expertise, the Cross PAW is Salomon’s first-ever dog-oriented trail running shoe.
Ideal for both short and long runs in adverse conditions, we adapted our most advanced trail running technologies to the specificity of a dog's anatomy. The shoe features our PawSOC™️ system, a built-in mesh sock and velcro tab that cradles the paw for enhanced stability, a reinforced claw box, and a grippy Contagrip®️ outsole for increased grip in all conditions.
Our new Smart Snack Pocket™️ also makes the summit treat easily accessible. After 3 years of development and testing, our first trail-dog specific shoe is ready to tackle the ruffest of trails your dog throws at it. Cross PAW, anything is paw-ssible.
Technical features:
- We fetched inspiration from our Predict SOC road running shoe and bone-ified this technology to our Cross PAW. The revolutionary PawSOC™️ is a built-in mesh sock and velcro that cradles the paw from the midsole to the tibia, providing a secure, snug, and virtually customized fit all around the paw.
- Like the rest of our footwear range, the Cross PAW is PFC Free for a cleaner impact on the planet.
- SSP Technology®️: A built-in Smart Snack Pocket™️ allows the dog to have quick access to its favorite snacks located on the upper of the shoe, to stay energized on the trails.
- The Contagrip®️ TA sole has an aggressive lug design that digs into mud, wet ground, or soft snow.
- Reinforced Claw Box: We reinforced the claw box for increased durability and more comfort for the claws on the downhill.
- A new Gore-Tex construction reduces bulk and improves comfort while maintaining complete weather protection, and ensures dry paws when going home.
- The 18mm drop adapts to your dog’s strides while the EnergyCell™️+ cushioning system reduces stress on its ankles and ensures all-day comfort.
