Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I guess it’s a scene that happens all the time but I’ve never seen it in real life. Probably because most of the bashing is done at night and they have done their work by the time the lifts open.

Yes, it is a YT setting to stop indirect viewing, the link below the image can still used.

Google found that too many people were viewing single videos from links, and not visiting the site, and Google obviously wasn't making any/enough money out of this, so they changed the settings. The objective being to force people to visit YT directly, and then be tempted by suggested click bait, therefore saying longer, thereby watching more adverts, thereby allowing them to gather more of your metadata, thereby making Google more money rolling eyes

For social media companies providing a service is an overhead, the money is in advertising and selling your metadata!
