Poster: A snowHead

Hello all, I'm going to be in Tignes UCPA for the week 10-17 April 2021, the week before the EoSB. I've only booked the basic course as I believe I will benefit from bespoke coaching more than with UCPA since UCPA is more like a guided tour in my personal experience. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good instructor at Tignes? Thanks

@garricw, can you give us a clue as to your standard, age, gender, money available (!) and I can probably give a more focussed reply. That said who knows who will be plying their trade this year?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@chocksaway, I'm a 29 male. I would say i'm an intermediate, comfortable going down all pistes including blacks, but will need to go slower in moguls. Ideally I am ok with spending £200-300 for maybe a couple of lessons as I am also looking to getting some group lessons in the EoSB too.
@holidayloverxx, Thanks, I will have a look!

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

In a normal year 300 quid will get you a morning's private lesson. Or you could get 3 to 4 morning's in a group lesson. There may be some small groups this year. Any of the TDC, New Gen or Ultimate groups would suit you I think.

@garricw, you could also try Steve Angus at TDC. He's based over in ValD but has also done lessons at the EosB last couple of times so if he's there as well, you could get more with him there.

If you look at the PSB lessons https://snowheads.com/ski-forum/viewtopic.php?t=148986, they have a bunch of instructors who work in Tignes, who I gather are all excellent (and so far, every instructor listed is part of that...) (though I have only skied with one of them due to various oddities last PSB...)
Floss (Jocelyn Cockle, freeflo ski) is also excellent to add to the names above, but I suspect immediately blows the top off your budget unless you can find some people to split a booking with...

I'd also recommend Grant from TDC in Tignes.
