Just been reminded listening to an old episode of the Ski Podcast about the series set in Val Thoren last year. It was on UKTV W channel, does anybody kow is there any where you can watch fror free on demand ??

Many of the best (worst?) clips are on you tube, but after watching a lot of it first time round from behind the chair i couldnt bring myself to click on any of them!

I enjoyed it, but maybe not the best to watch before your trip..
I liked the part where they put the guy's dislocated shoulder back in, made a lovely pop.

@iainm, Yes just discovered your Podcast, and really enjoying. Just listened to the review on Ovronanz, great place and a nice Spa.
I have skied all the small resorts in that part of Swiss, Champex Lac , La Foula, Liddes, Super St Bernard (now sadly closed, but it was great ski into Italy) and Les Marécottes, some with only one chair lift.

@thunderer, I watched it on the basis that something ski related was better than nothing.
To be honest you’re not missing much.

Thanks good to hear. I'm guessing you're probably a fan of the Magic Pass, with that list of favourite resorts.

Just been watching this series, didn't release it was 2 years old now. I'm at conflict tho. I find it interesting but also not ideal watching on the run up to a new session  . You can reason it that most people who had a big accident were doing something silly or risky. A black run on your first day of skiing or the jumps at the park, but even the prudent and the experienced can come unstuck!
I must admit i have even more appreciate for the ski patrol and the medics after watching this.

If you enjoyed that then look for 'The Horn' Zermatt Mountain Rescue, it was on Red Bull TV a couple of years ago. First few episodes are low definition but well worth the watch and a bit more hardcore than the A&E.
