Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Earier this winter we descussed the ski resort social structure. I feel it should be updated.

1. Bootfitters, everyone needs them, nuff said.
2. Tourists/Punters, without whom, no one else would be here.
3. Pisters, security. Not everyone has skins and an Arva.
4. People born in resort. Their home.
5. Snow workers, road clearers and street cleaners.
6. Anyone else prepared to pay taxes for the Good of the People.
7. Any other Natives, it'll be there home and will expect every one to be aware of it.
8. Dogs.
9. Seasonaries.(MOST OF THEM) Scum, suck the resort dry, give nothing back, however do give the street cleaners plenty of work .
10. Freeriders/Ski Bums. Should just be called 'BUMS'

I think thats about how some may see it.

The folk who trigger controlled avalanches. Quite a lot seems to be automated now - but there must still be occasions when individuals put themselves at risk so that we can enjoy our favourite recreation.

I must admit that really good boot fitters are heroes of mine, too Smile

I'm not sure how celebrity skiers fit into this scheme... I understand that Mariah Carrey doesn't hit the slopes until 4pm which from a snowHeads point of view is an abysmal performance, but on the other hand it means she's not cluttering up the slopes for the more dedicated...
