Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Final Boot Adjustments

Just wanted to give a shout-out to Colin @ Solutions4Feet.
I was there yesterday to get the final adjusments to my boots. I have very prominent ankle bones and it has always been a nightmare to get them properly adjusted.
I got my last pair to fit perfectly the day I had to replace them .... rolling eyes
This time I decided to try Solutions4Feet as there were a lot of recommendations for them on this forum.
I was not dissapointed.
I have been so impressed with the level of care and determination shown to achieve a perfect fit.
My boots are now quite significantly modded to fit my weird feet using bits of equipment that wouldn't have looked out of place in a medieval torture chamber.
This was my second return visit to achieve near perfecton.
Feeling guilty that I had used up so much of Colin's time, I tried really hard to pay for the adjustments, but as I had originally bought the boots from them, Colin utterly refused to take anything.
It is rare to find this kind of care and customer facing service.
Very impressed and highly recommended.
