Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Mid week ski lessons

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi all,

Friends of ours are hoping to come out to La Tania when we are there in December but arrive on a Tuesday, first day skiing on a Wednesday. Does anyone know if any ski schools run groups from mid week or do they all tend to follow a Sunday/Monday cycle?

Thanks in advance!

How many days are they thinking of taking lessons? Are they of a similar standard?

This sounds like a good case for private Lessons.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Both beginners - hopefully 3/4 sessions at the snow dome before hand! They will be skiing from Wednesday to the following Friday (10 days).

That was my initial thought.

Generally, they don't like/allow Beginners joining half way through the week - as they will be too far behind and likely slow the class down.

This happened to one of my Party, who was a beginner Snowboarder, who missed lessons due to getting ill - They put his outstanding money towards Private lessons.

They will come on much more quickly with individual attention.

Once they've got a little skill, they could join class lessons for the following week, if necessary....The Private Instructor will be able to advise.
