Off to Cham on May Day for the last week of the season at Argentierre.
It strikes me that a little shopping trip may be in order. Anyone any idea whether there are bargains to be had in Cham ?
I'm after some telemark gear, any inside info ?

Have a look in Snell Sports, centre of town in Cham, Rue Docteur Paccard, They have pretty huge range of specialist gear. Dunno if their prices will be cheapest tho.

Very limited range of boots left anywhere when I was there beginning of April. You may still pick up bindings.

To me the best place for shopping skiing equipment, especially Telemark, is the Sallanches branch of Au Vieux Campeur. Sallanches is down at the bottom of the Chamonix valley, about 17 miles from Chamonix.
