Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Feb 2021 Half term ski destination

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Looking for advice on feb half term skiing.

My wife and I have been skiing for the last 8 years every Easter to Tignes, however this was cancelled this year due to Coronavirus. We are therefor looking to go skiing twice next year. Easter is sorted, we will go to Tignes as normal as we like it there and know what to expect in April.

As for Feb half term we are looking at one of the resorts which makes up Paradiski but would be interested to know how busy it gets during feb half term? I know some resorts cope better than others at peak periods as they are larger and have better lift infrastructure in place. I have booked return flights to Geneva already.

We are stuck to going in half term too due to my wife being a teacher.

Thanks in advance

If you know and like Tignes and are going to go to Tignes, why not go the complete opposite for half term and go to Ski Juwel or Italy or even Kopaonik or somewhere very different?

 Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I like what @JohnHSmith says. Try Italy, Are in Scandinavia. You'd need to check on local holidays there, though.

Sorry, I have only just seen that you have booked flights to Geneva. But there are still plenty of "different" options reachable from there

 Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@Robb84,

I would second the view of JohnHSmith ie give Italy a try. You could go through the Mont Blanc Tunnel, from Geneva, and base yourself in the Aosta Valley. It would be a change from France - and your wallet would thank you for it! Very Happy
