I say skied with him....He scared the life out of me when he absolutely (and this is not a term that often finds itself in my vocabulary) SENT IT off a lip at La Balme at 100mph about 2 metres away from me. Jaws on the floor all over the shop.
He proceeded the scream towards the lift line at mach 3 and I was convinced he was going to kill someone but he just made it all look effortless. If it were anyone else I'd have said they were skiing completely irresponsibly but....its Candide.
Takeaways:
I've never seen someone ski that fast in real life, even living in Chamonix.
I've never seen someone make skiing look that easy
It's nice that the big boys still make time for skiing for fun.
In Candide's world, turning is for the weak
Anyway, it was kind of inspiring!

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

I saw him sent that superpark tabletop at Mammoth many years ago before I even knew who he was. And he was just a kid then.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Other skiers can do what he does but NOBODY makes it look as effortless.
He is absolutely beautiful to watch....
..... and no spring chicken
..... and after a potentially career ending accident (see Few Words)!

That was a moment. Must’ve been incredible seeing it for real. I remember that segment in Ski Movie III - ‘when Candide started hitting the big table straight on, everything else just stopped’
Then you can post your own questions or snow reports...

Jealous.
After all it is free
