Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Accident in Sellaronda last Thursday

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I saw this post on Facebook from someone who was injured near the Belvedere on Thursday 6th February. We skied past there about an hour before the accident so did not witness it but as there were 150 snowheads there for the Birthday Bash someone may have witnessed.

The woman is called Chrissie Novelle and it was posted on Facebook Ski Club.
Her post:
I am in Hospital in Cavalese Italy. Apparently I was involved in a collision with a snowboarder on Thursday. He got up and walked away. I have broken my pelvis in two places.. broken clavicle and scapula..and a bleed on the brain. Am lucky to be alive. The first I knew of it was when i woke up in the paddy wagon. Apparently I was out for ten mins. There were no witnesses.. apparently. Police were called and he gave them his dets but according to the copy of the report I have they may be wrong.. or the police took them down incorrectly.
I dont want to apportion blame but did anyone see it ? Or know anyone who did? I just want to know what happened. And the young man did stay until I was safely in the wagon
It happemed about 1045 on the Belvedere slopes above Canazei on Thursday 6th Feb.I was wearing a very distinctive "Neon Grapefriut " jacket with black pants and a silver helmet . Have no idea what he was wearing. I beleive he may be English but the police report says he is Italian. Ta

If anyone has any info hopefully you can find Chrissie on Facebook - I do not know her.

What a horrible accident. I don't know anything about what happened but I wish the woman involved a speedy and successful recovery.
