Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

A snowHead
Hello
I'm looking for suggestions for companies or guides to go ski touring near Brunico early March. Everything I have found so far is offers of several day packages rather than being able to get a guide for a day or two. I'm going there with my dad. We are both good skiers. Comfortable on any prepared slope of any difficulty but only have a couple of years experience of piste which means its a bit too little to go on our own. Would rather pay for a guide.
Thanks
Stepan

Hi Stepan
Apologies, probably not a really useful answer to you because it is France, but as nobody else has replied yet I am sticking my twopence in. I can only talk about a firm Snowcoach for ski guiding. They put it on as part of the package. They do half a week or a whole week. It is still the cheapest ski firm I know You don't have to go with the guide but if you don't go you are not really wasting money. And if you take their coach you can get 8 days skiing when those who fly get only 6.
I am going with them next month just after half term and all in, transport, parking, 3/4 board, own kit and insurance I am only forking out £950 absolute total.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Have you looked for Burgfurer at Kronplatz or Brunico. There are a few on line.

Hey! Thanks for this! Might look into that for next year! I'm always a bit on the fence with services like this. They can be a bit of a hit and miss. Sometimes great, sometimes really poo-poo. Nice to get a review from someone who actually tried it!

Hello! Well i've checked out a few companies but mostly found that they do several day deals only rather than just pay for one or two days. Was hoping someone knows a good guide who I could contact. Will keep on searching! Thanks!
