Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Meribel Lift Pass Collection Location

Hi!

If I purchase a lift pass online for the 3 Vallies, based in Meribel. Where do I collect it from? Is it just as easy to walk to the office by "Le Pub" on the main street and purchase them on the day?

Thanks.

The office by the Pub is the tourist office - they don't sell passes. The main pass office is under the Tougnete gondola in the middle of the Chaudanne and there is a smaller one right at the top of Meribel by the Rond Point and one by the Altiport. Depending on day of week/time of day/time of season it's probably just as easy to buy them on the day. If you anticipate it being a busy time, get them sent to your home address in advance - it's a no-cost option.

I recently had to make the decision to either have them posted to me here in the UK or to collect on the afternoon of Sunday March 1st under the Tougnete gondola in the Chaudanne. It probably wouldn't have been very busy on this afternoon (changeover day for many chalets, and in the afternoon, not peak time), but in the end I got it posted to me (for free) and it arrived about 8 days later. Would heartily recommend that option over collecting.

2nd that. It took the hassle out of arriving late on Sunday, getting boots fitted and getting the kids to bed and then up early to get to their 9am lesson.
