Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Back in blighty now after landing last night and spending today in the office. We spent Sunday and yesterday in Davos. On Sunday, the temperatures were still high and it was melting at the top station (2800m) by early afternoon but the snow stayed more than skiable. We only skied the Parsenn side of the area and spent most of the time on the Kreuzweg-Klosters red and the runs off the Weissfluhgpfel and Parsennfurgga. The snow was patchy at village level and although the balck was open, I wouldn't ski down it on my own skis. The lower part of the red down to Schifer should've been closed given the vast patches of bare earth in the middle of the piste. Yesterday, the cloud and wet snow arrived and the temperatures were slightly lower. Following an unintentional heavy night out in Davos, we found the now hard runs a little unnerving and the cloud produced whiteout conditions at mid mountain by late morning, which didn't help. The snow softened slighly and was perfect towards the top of the Weissfuhjoch but was very slushy towards Obersass. Finding ourselves completely knackered and facing a 2.5hr drive to the airport, we stopped skiing at 2:30pm, by which time the cloud had reached the top station. A superb 4 days skiing and now looking forward to the EoSB snowHead

Sharkymark, you left too early. I was in Davos on Wed (12/4) and the conditions were superb. Like you, I skied Parsenn, and conditions were perfect. The run down to Klosters and the run back to Davos were both in good nick.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Damn... Evil or Very Mad

They must've had a serious amount of snow on the runs into Klosters as there were huge patches of earth around when we were there!
