 Poster: A snowHead

My family is flying to Geneva, landing Monday and heading to Verbier. I was very excited to see up to 5ft of snow forecast over the next 5 days!
Then I realized, this might be a pretty bad situation. Thats a lot of snow.
We were planning to skin next Tues-Sat, and planned to get a guide for Thurs-Fri. Having never been to Verbier (or skiing in Europe at all for that matter), I have no idea what to expect in terms of them handling that snowfall, and I also dont know where are the best places to ski at Verbier when there is that much snow.
Was hoping to get some advice from people who know the mountain on what we should be doing (the first couple of days especially when we dont have a guide) if there is that much new snow hitting the mountain early next week?

It will be chaos.
But just relax and enjoy it.
No point in stressing out.
Global warming is making big snowfall ever rarer. Enjoy it while it lasts.
You will eventually get up the hill, up a lift, and down some sweet pow.
If you see an avalanche, ski faster.
Look forward to your trip report and pix.

haha thanks for the response. I know we will figure it out.
I guess I am wondering where are the best places to ski on the mountain during those times - I assume certain trails or itineraries may be better managed for such conditions than others?

Heavy rain forecasted in the village and valley on Monday, so be prepared for freezing rain and black ice on the driveup and walk-to.
Recommend browsing and posting on this dedicated Verbier thread.
Verbier is the best resort on the planet for liftserved steeps.
Chamonix is steeper, but harder to access.
Anywhere near the top of Verbier is good for offpiste.
Tortin, Gele, Mont Fort are where most people start (if open).
Follow the yellow itineraries. They are easy to navigate.

the reverse of Whitegolds comments are that Verbier is not the best place for on piste skiing. It is still very good, and plenty for the time you are there, but the focus is offpiste.

The real advice is, that forecast will evaporate as it approaches. Relax.
