Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

All mountain ski - Camox or Menace?

Have been skiing on 2008 Solomon teneighty foils since they came out. Love them but they're pretty small for me now. Now 5'10'' 160lb

Advanced/Expert skier. Ski everything on the mountain (inbounds). Really like getting in the trees the most. Like powder, bumps and definitely more playful.. enjoying "pivoty" turns etc. Looking to buy new skis that are going to perform well as an all mountain ski.

Currently thinking narrowed down to between the Black Crow Camox @ 174 or the Dynastar Menace @175... could also go up a size? Any thoughts between those two pairs of skis? Other recommendations?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Another couple of pairs to check out are the Nordica Enforcers and the Atomic Bent Chetlers, both do versions approx 100mm.

If you like pivoty turns bear in mind with those two options you’d be going not just to a longer ski, but from a 15m radius to a 20m one.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Although the point about pivoty turns is you don't ski the radius - it's where a straight ski with rocker can be much more pivoty than a small radius ski with traditional sidecut
