Poster: A snowHead

Hi,
I want to take my kids skiing for the first time this winter (they are 7 and 4) but finding the right resort is proving tricky.
My wife won't ski any longer as she has done both of her ACLs. She has said she won't let me take the kids away by myself (would miss them, suspects it will be too practically challenging given they are both still pretty young) but is happy to come along provided we can find somewhere that would allow her to do yoga and, ideally, swim every day.
I've searched this site and not thrown up any ideas. Searching Google just brings up dedicated yoga-ski holidays where everyone does both and no kids are welcome. We'd want either a resort that has regular yoga classes or, even better, a kid-friendly hotel that does.
Would be going at Feb half term or in the first week of April, don't mind which. We've only skied in the Alps before, but open to going to N America or elsewhere in Europe if that makes sense.
Thanks so much!

Chamonix - it's a town rather than a ski resort, and so has a number of yoga studios, and classes. There are a few mentioned here: https://chamonixallyear.com/yoga-meditation-classes-chamonix/
There are also a number of hotels with swimming pools and other facilities.
There should be other places too - I'd focus on the biggest resorts as they're the most likely to have extra things like this.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

She wasn't particularly into skiing before and really doesn't want to try it again (or boarding) unfortunately

The Sport Village hotel in Soldeu would probably work for you. When we were there (2017) they certainly ran yoga classes. They have a fabulous spa and pool (age restricted though - think the min age was 13) and a great gym with quite a number of classes through the day too (we were skiing so didn't actually witness these). Children's lessons in Soldeu will be English speaking and well run. Hotel is ideally situated for a non skier to take the gondola up to the top to meet for lunch etc. If you book a suite, you should get free spa access - go for a slope view room! Sadly half term will be pricey....

Another Soldeu alternative is to look at the Piolets Hotel. The Sport Hotel has attracted a very chi-chi Russian/Barcelona/Ligue Espangol crowd in recent years.
Piolets is on the corner overlooking El tarter and being a little down the hill, is a little more spread out
