Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Shifts on Altum 114's

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi All,

Think Mark @whitedotskis might get fed up if I ask him any more questions (he's been very patient so far!) so I'm putting this out to snowheads at large:

Is it worth putting the shift bindings on the Whitedot Altum 114's?

Simple really Toofy Grin

Thanks heaps

Well if you think you might want to do some skinning to access fresh lines then yes it's a great idea. If not then just get an alpine binding. It's that simple!

And I've got Shifts in stock as well as skins and the Shift crampons wink

What @spyderjon said. I have Shifts on DOWN CD114 Lights and they work very nicely for downhill-oriented touring:

@spyderjon, Speaking of which, for a largely white ski with a red stripe, do you only have the blue Salomon Shifts, or can you get the white Atomic version?

What can I say, it not about fashion, it’s about style wink

I’m not sure blue bindings would look good on these - https://www.dpsskis.com/powderworks-lotus-138-19-20-bundle

Love the look of these bindings, haven't toured yet, but it's something i'd like to get in to.

A friend of mine moved to Kelowna,BC with her boyfriend last March, and she's just been messaging me about these recently actually, what's noticeable is the difference in cost over here compared to there. Those bindings go for around £350 here, whereas she can't get them for any less than $700CAD out there, but based on UK price they would be around $600CAD.

When I go and visit them both in the 20/21 season, I think i'll get myself a set of skis with these on.
