Poster: A snowHead
|
I occasionally pop onto freeride.se to check on news of wintersport in Scandinavia. My tablet automatically translates to english, though often there is anomalies that need a bit of thought to deduce meaning. This one however, from an article about which ski weeks are best for snow and small queues, has me stumped. Any ideas?
"In summary, the attentive skier can note that between week 2 and week 6, and between week 11 and week 14, there is a low season on the ski resorts and good chances for fine skiing, whether you are looking for crispy manchester or fluffy powder."

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Manchester used to be synonymous with cotton, i.e. in NZ bed linen is often referred to as Manchester, so maybe like cotton? Starched sheet?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?
