Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Geneva to Flaine transfer

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi, can someone tell me if there's transfer buses from Geneva airport to Flaine same as Chamonix? ie. pay about €25 and jump on a bus (that runs every 30 minutes or hour or whatever it is)

thanks

We used shared transfers with gomassif. Not exactly what you're looking for, and not sure on price (been a few years since I did it), but was happy with the company.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks. Think they were €50 or €100 - saw a few websites advertising €27 each way but when I got quotes they were €50 each way every time. Was wondering if it's like Chamonix, when you can just wait about 30 minutes for a €25 bus on arrival to Geneva airport but maybe there's less options for Flaine?

@moseyp, we have used action transfers for going to les carroz, but you have to pre-book transfers as you can't book them at the actual airport (same for all / majority), last one I booked about 3 weeks ago was Eur 70 return.

I don't believe that you can just rock up at GVA and pick up a transfer - they aren't licensed as Geneva taxis.

You need to book online (which could be just a few seconds before departure).

@under a new name, you can do it for Cham though? not a taxi - one of those little minibus things. I've done it a few times. Was hoping Flaine would be the same cos it's so close...

@moseyp, Flaine has tiny footfall compared to Cham. It wouldn’t be profitable.

@moseyp, try these folks — you post your request, and different transfer companies will give you their best price. I have used them numerous times:
