Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Dalbello Lupo AX for women

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi
Just wondered if anyone has got or tried these boots? They are appealing as they go down to my size (a weeny 21.5) but I've never tried a Dalbello on, do they fit true to size? etc
Many thanks
Linda

I have Lupo AX120 and would say that they are true to size. One thing to check is that the Lupo range has some different lasts (width). Mine have 100mm and I have medium width feet. I regret not getting one of the 98mm width models. That apart they are great boots for their intended application - freeride / shorter tours - I use something else for hut to hut touring etc.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks Jedster
It's more the rarity of a boot that is an adults boot in a small enough size that makes it appealing, I have junior race boots at the moment but my other half wants to get into the touring side of things.

Not sure if they have your size, but the price is pretty keen.....https://www.sportsdirect.com/dalbello-lupo-ax-ladies-ski-boots-921123?colcode=92112301

Happy with my mens AX120 also. I'd say they (M28) size up well compared to my Atomic alpine soled boots, M28.

I bought a pair of Dalbello Chakra women's boots in my "normal size" (i've had various Nordica boots over the years and they just fit each time). The Chakra's are a boot with the narrow 98ml last. Felt great initially, properly snug but the toe box was too long and in the end I decided they were just too big-proved by the fact that I later lost a big toenail later in the spring. It was a joy to put my old boots back on and feel I could ski again. I didn't go back and try and swap for a smaller pair-it was a bit too late for it then. Mr P has skied on Lupos for at lest the last 4 seasons and really likes em.
