Just a quick report from the weeks activities
Skied Sat, Sun 18th and 19th in Val Cenis, met Spyderjon for a quick après ‘pint’ on Sunday afternoon.
Skied Mon at Val Cenis, tried to show Spyderjon the majority of the mountain in a quick blast round, followed by a leisurely skoot around in the afternoon.
Tues: Took the bus to Termignon, skied the resort, with probably less than 30 people being in the resort, absolutely no queues or traffic. Superb conditions.
Wed: La Norma, used the Snowcoach option to ski this lovely resort in sunny conditions, Kat managed to find some perfect pistes to play on, even managed to scare myself at stupid speed carving.
Tried Spyderjon’s B5’s after lunch, reasonably impressed, pretty lively compared to the 5 stars, but still good fun.
Thurs: Back to Val Cenis again, bits of powder to play in, esp on the bumps.
Fri: Val Frejus for the day, overcast conditions after a nights snowfall, poor light plus some niggles, and the group was soon down to 2. Borrowed Spyderjon’s M:EX’s for a few runs in the powder. Found a superb black run, covered in untracked powder to play in, these ski’s just ate the conditions. Couldn’t stop laughing all the way down.
The swapped back and skied a couple more runs, including finding powder on a red run at 14.30.
Sat: Val Cenis again, suffered in the morning due to partying too much the night before (will learn sometime), had a couple of runs down ‘Ramasse’ to clear the head, then went for a play in the powder. Superb conditions in the morning, getting a bit slushy after lunch.
Met Spyderjon for lunch, before a leisurely cruise round in the afternoon.
Can't wait to go back in a couple of weeks

Red Leon, Yep Andy is fully fit again, only skied 1 day with him, as he had a few days holiday, so Kat was left to guide for the week.
Termignon is always very quiet, with perfectly groomed slopes, just needs a chair at the top and it would be perfect !

Here is a view down to Termignon you may not have seen. It was taken last year. With no new snow for 8 days, but with a 20 min walk, we found this huge descent - a valley with only 6 tracks so far. ( Just right under the big rock is a big bowl).
