I am in Ischgl on Saturday.
Does anyone know where I could get to see the England vs Ireland rugby match.
Either in Ischgl itself or as near by as possible by car, I am willing to drive to Innsbruck if needs be..
I'll buy the person who lets me know where to watch it in Ischgl a pint, as will my companions....

barrabus, There's an irish pub you could try (depending upon your allegences), the name escapes me. Can't remember if it had TV screens, but that could be a good place to try. It's easy to find as it was on the main street pretty close to the town end of the dorftunnel. Failing that, I think there was a "sports bar" just across the road from there.

kamikaze, Judging by his location I'd hazard a guess and say barrabus, supports Ireland. I think England will get another drubbing unfortunately and perhaps, this time, Robinson won't get away with it.

I am in exactly the same situation as you !!!!! (except I'll be supporting England!?!?!?)
We leave for Ischgl first thing in the morning.....
Its been a few years since I was in Ischgl but there is an "Irish" pub on the main street called the "Golden Eagle". To be honest it looks more like a music bar. The website isn't much use at all: http://www.golden-eagle.at/
I might try to get there half an hour before kick off and hope to meet some like-minded people (and seasonnaires) who might have an idea....See you there?!
