Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi all - especially PG and Rob and Bernard C who seem to be the Les Arcs experts
The other half and I will be back in Bourg next week and Skiing from 24th to 28th March. Finally hope to get our act together and take a series of private lessons in an attempt to get rid of the Gremlins. I have fun on the piste and am sometimes happy to play on the edges and have even ventured into some of the easier tracks of the Mont Blanc forest, Ger is happy on most pisted runs but needs to build confidence on the Blacks.
Hoping to find an instructor for about an hour per day and we would alternate which of us takes the lesson
Recommendations welcome please - English speaking preferably and as reasonably priced as possible (as we are in the last month of the season).
P.S Any snowheads around that week who want to ski with us?

I used Darentasia (
http://ski-darentasia.com/
) who I think are based in BSM, on my trip to Plan Peisey in January and I really enjoyed my lesson with Guillem (sp?) whose spoken English was immaculate. I paid €85 Euro for a two hour private lesson ( tip - take the 12.00-14.00 slot as as it is about €20 Euro cheaper than either the morning or afternoon slot, and the lifts/slopes are quieter )
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

, sorry, I've not yet used any instructors in Les Arcs. Will be interested in your experience, though.

I'd recommend new generation (think all native English speaking) based in the Vallandry part of les Arcs. My daughter and I had a gremlin bashing private lesson form John and it really helped. They have a website and were v helpful on phone.
