Dubbin on the leather straps on the handle and webbing on the the basket, danish oil on the bamboo shaft and brasso on the tip. Looked after correctly poles can last for ages.

After watching an instructor's party trick at a restaurant in Serre Chevalier recently I need mine to hand all summer. Balancing 1 pole on the other, tip to tip, is going to take a lot of practise

@Claude B, the trick is to fix your eyes on the handle of the balanced pole.

Wrap them in parchment, preferably clockwise, always from bottom to top, tie off both ends with twine only. Afterward, hang them from the bottom twine upside down in a manner so each is facing north to maximize Feng Shui. Come ski season, take down from hanging ONLY during a new moon phase.
