Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Over the last few years we've stayed in champoluc as there are plenty of bars etc.we have been recommended to go to gressoney..... What is it like in gressony..?? As there does not seem to be anything there !!!!

There 3 are distinct parts to Gressoney.
Staffal, where the main lifts go from. There's not a lot here other than a couple of hotels
Gressoney La Trinite, which is a couple of miles down the road from Staffal, and has a chair lift that joins into the main Monterosa ski area. This has a reasonable number of hotels and bars. Not sure I can compare it to Champoluc, as I've not stayed in Champoluc. There are regular buses between Gressoney La Trinite and Staffal
Gressoney St Jean, which is a few miles further down the road, and has a few slopes that aren't connected to the main Monterosa ski area

, Ey-up-lad, 'avin stayed at both I reckon Champoluc has the better range of stuff! Gressoney just does not have the Bistrot munchies!

The two maybe linked but are worlds away just like Alagna is a distant constellation.
If you want everything in one place stay in Champoluc if you don’t mind the explore then the Lys valley might just reward.
