Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I am not sure that the fact the mess being created is bigger, possibly being able to basically hold creditors to ransom etc, makes for more "skin in the game". Not much skin, or bones, left out of BHS, or Carillion. Lot of disappeared money that has to be made up somewhere, by the rest of us.
You've probably worked out by now I have a small business Laughing
Suns out now too so I am going skiing snowHead

I believe there were plenty of clues with BHS not least that Mr Green had previously "rescued" it. That and being a high street retail chain. Put it this way I wouldn't invest in store vouchers for just about any high street store these days. In case it's not clear I wasn't trying to have a pop at small businesses - just the human nature that denies a problem until it is too late. & there is no doubt a small owner manged (company) business if they are unethically minded can do more (proportionately) raiding of the coffers prior to administration than any single individual in a large corporate. Holiday operators strike me as one of teh most perilous businesses of all - run on tight margins, subject to vagaries of weather and 3rd party transport ops, yet handling lots of customers as creditors. Maybe ultimately there is a consumer solution in a CC operator or Paypal that ringfences funds until holidays are completed.

I guess the take home message is always pay on CC - but then the poor old supplier gets hit by the c2.5% skim straight off their bottom line.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?
