Poster: A snowHead

The Swiss MagicPass goes on sale today. CHF 399.00 for an adult with the price guaranteed until 08.04.2019. It's summer and winter although not all stations open in the summer of course.
Some additions this time, Leukerbad, Saas Fee, Jaun, Pres d'Orvin (I think it's new). While Charmey and Château-d'Œx aren't operating currently.

The pre-order price on the Magic Pass really is astonishingly good value for money!

Out in the French Pyrenees just now and it seems there is a new organisation called 'Snow Pass' trying to set up the same deal. Resorts are not sure if they are just going to be throwing money away by effectively cutting their season pass price though. They have a meeting about it next week.

I see that next years Magic Pass has optional insurance including SAR (CHF50,000) and Medical expenses for 8% of pass cost. The terms seem to be a standard Swiss household policy from which the personal assistance section is relevant.
Has anyone looked at this in depth please? eg off piste.
