Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Extending multiday ski pass (Ski Amade)

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi all, following knee surgery ive little confidence in how many days I'll be able to ski this season. Ive asked the guys at Gastein.com on the rules governing rate reductions for additional days on an existing multiday pass (non-transferable, photo ID taken) but it's like pulling hens teeth. There does not appear to be any printed rules on this.
Eg if I buy a 7 day pass can I skip a day then buy a single day pass at a reduced rate or even a 2nd 7 day pass but again at a reduced rate. So far I've established that if I buy a 7 day pass I can buy an additional day at a significant discount (34 versus 52 euro) but I don't know if I can skip a day or any other T&Cs. Ideally I'd buy a single day pass an extended that but that might be asking for too much.
I've booked a one way Ryanair flight in March so a little hope is lurking somewhere.
Tia for any additional info.

@mopi, not really sure what you are asking. if you buy a 7 day pass you have established that you can buy an additional day for €34. if you buy a 7 day pass and skip a day why would that be any different, you would still have a 7 day pass. You can buy a pass which give you 5 days in 7. no idea if you can but a discounted extra day with it though. you can also get a 12 days in 14 for €429.50, which is cheaper than 2 x 5 in 7 but a 14 day pass is only €459,50. How long do you plan to be there? when in march are you going as prices change from 16th March

@mopi, short answer is no.

7 days is for 7 days.
They do not offer pass extensions.
They do not carry forward any unused days or discount for unused days on your pass.

Thanks for replies. @holdayloverxx if I knew my knee would hold I'd buy whatever was best value to get me to the end of the season, even at this late stage it's probably a season pass but I've very little faith my knee will hold. Rest days are going to be necessary even if all I can do is something like 7 out of 10 days. In Fairless to Ski Amade they do offer some undefined discount when adding extra days I'm just trying to figure out exactly how it works.
