Hi all
In a bit of a dilemma as the flight we would like (cheapest) lands in Geneva at 22.20 and the last train that evening leaves at, you guessed it, 22.20. Just wondering if anyone has any other recommendations in terms of transfers, as the quotes I’ve looked at are crazy.
Also any recommendations for car hire but after checking easy car and sky scanner for car hire the quotes are coming in at minimum £250 for the 6 days were there. Although this is looking like the option we are going to have to take which is a shame.

@tjhodgson145, I stayed in the Ibis there a few years ago on that basis - as I recall it fit the brief but as I say it was a while ago (2012 I think).

Do your sums first. It’s circa 150chf return by train so if there’s 2 of you, car hire not much more and will give you flexibility. First train will also not get you there until just before 10am and a painful journey including a train and 2 buses. If you overnight NH Geneva airport circa 130chf per night is good. Note, Verbier is just a 20 min detour from Martigny if you want to mix in another great Valais resort on your way out/back.
