 Poster: A snowHead

I just got back from Tignes where it was 'kin cold. This has led me to think a lot about base layers.
I am 6 foot 2 but have quite short legs ergo a long body. All the base layers I have had till now feel permanently on the edge of, or actually, gapping at the waist leaving a chilly band around my middle.
So, can anyone recommend a purveyor of extra long base layer tops?

What about some salopettes with a bib and braces?

@sheffskibod, That's what I wear and it is a big improvement on belted ski pants. A one piece is even better but i haven't gone to that extreme for a long time. I guess I'm just seeking perfection.

My burton base layer goes to the top of my legs. extra warmth for the family jewels.

@Bogusman, this may amuse some (it certainly does Mrs M) but why not tuck each layer in to something?
So vest gets tucked in to boxers, 1st top base layer into 1st bottom base layer, jumper into cycling shorts, soft shell jacket into salopets then hardshell jacket with snow skirt over everything.
No gaps for any cold to get in, just looks odd to anyone who watches you layer up.

@marcellus, The issue is that the base layer top doesn't reach the base layer bottom in order to be tucked in. @Mr.Egg, and@graeme, Thanks. I'll check out Burton.

Sugoi cycling base layers I find to work well.
Long at the back to cope with all that leaning-forward-ness you get cycling and seem to stay tucked in all day long.

Mr G is 6 ft 3. Has outer trousers with bib and braces, but wears Aldi or Decathlon inner stuff and seems to have no complaints, even in well below -20s. He has long arms too, and they suit him.

Similar height to you but more normally proportioned... I've got L and XL helly base layers, and the Xl seems more or less exactly the same fit as the L, but the top comes right down to my ass.

I got some sweet protection ones from sportpursuit and they are extra long - top is designed to overlap bottoms a lot to prevent the gap
