Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hey,

Anyone got experience of these? I've been offered a good deal. Currently there's pressure on the top of the foot when trying them on and they feel a little small, though the guy has assured me they're thermoformable again even though he's had them moulded once.

They're in very good condition and a good price and they fit nicely in the boot.

Opinions gratefully received.

@Meltus, great liner, I am always a little nervous relating thermo liners of any sort as they can shrink badly

Not had to or wanted to reheat one of these exact ones but the material is the same as the Palau liners and they can shrink badly

Thanks Colin, I can't be having them shrink any more they're pretty small already. Still, 80 euro for the liner seems a great price and once on (a bit of struggle) they fit nicely apart from this instep pressure.

Actually, you might be able to answer a question. You fitted me with some boots about 4/5 years ago (Salomon X-Max 120 alpine boot 26.5) with some custom footbeds (superfeet red). I don't suppose there's any chance the liner and/or footbed from these would fit into a new boot. Specifically the Roxa R3 bright green touring boot. I'm guessing the answer is, "no idea, probably not, but try them" but can't hurt to ask.
