Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

If you're flying from Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool or EMA the flights to Salzburg only go Saturday to Saturday, you'd probably need to drive down to one of the London airports for a mid week flight.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Fly to Munich, then train over the border?

You can fly with KLM from Leeds to Munich on a Wed with a short stop in Amsterdam. It's a 3hr drive to Saalbach. If you want to fly into Salzburg on a Wed then you probably need to go via Frankfurt and fly with Lufthansa.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

KLM fly daily from most UK regional airports to Amsterdam and then onto Munich, we have friends who regularly come from Humberside doing this. Maybe KLM fly to Salzburg or Innsbruck but possibly only Saturdays.

Once at Munich airport driving is probably the best option to Saalbach but it is possible by train, though a little involved. By train you would need to take the S bahn into town, to either Haupt or Ostbahnhof, then a train to Wörgl (possible direct but also change in Kufstein), at Wörgl you change onto a train towards Salzburg, get off at Maishofen and it is a short taxi ride up the Glemmtal.

Lufthansa have flights from Manchester- Munich, daily I'm sure. Also, daily Swiss Manchester- Zurich, but that's a long train trip to Saalbach.
