Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Solo Skier looking for a group Mid-Feb - early March

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi Guys, I'm a 50 year old intermediate/advanced male skier looking to join a group (preferably in a chalet or chalet hotel) skiing either one of the last 2 weeks of Feb or the first week of March. I tend to ski first to last lifts each day so prefer the bigger ski areas.

Hi.

I've been trying to find buddies to join me for a trip to Cervinia on 26th Jan, but so far no luck. There was no real reason for that date, other than I'm going to 3 Valleys 23rd March, and would give a nice break between the two.

Would you be interested in joining me on that, if I moved it back to 3rd Week Feb?.

I'm a young Wink, 58 year old, also go to get some skiing done, and of similar standard. I've wanted to go to Cervinia for years. Longest ski run in Europe, and Zermatt is also on the lift pass. I prefer Self Catering, as I don't mind getting my own breakfast at all, and prefer go out to eat in the evening.

Just a thought. Apartments seem more expensive in Cervinia than most of France, but you can get a real nice one for about £1,000. Flights and car hire are cheap, so only around £300 each for apartment flights and car hire if we found 2 others. There's a thread regarding this not far down if you're interested. Good luck either ways.

Steve.

Mid feb wouldn't be February half term, would it? It's impossible to find skiing buddies when everyones trying to dodge it.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Lol. Well I don't even look 38 Wink.

I've looked, and there's absolutely no centrally located apartments available mid February. I'm going to have to keep my fingers crossed for 26th Jan - at least while that apartment is still available.

If that fails to happen, I guess I've have to look elsewhere, but I'm so keen to get to Cervinia.

Same here. I just don't know how I come to be this age Smile

I think Zermatt will be a lot too expensive for me. I'm going to Courchevel March 23rd, that one's booked up. 3 of us sharing an apartment.

This is the one I was looking at in Cervinia: https://www.homeaway.co.uk/p6901081

Want something central, because I hope to eat out in the evening, and don't want a long walk(or to drive).
