Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi Chaps,

Does anyone here know or have an estimate of the transfer time from Chambery to les Arcs, it will be a SATURDAY! but we arrive in Chambery at 08:40.

Hopefully, if we dont have to hang around for another flight we may even get on the slopes on the arrival day!

I would think about 2 hours on a good day. We recently stayed in Chambery overnight and left hotel at about 8.30 arrived in La Rosiere (The other side of the Valley just after 10.00am). However when we came back everybody was being stopped in BSM and made to put on chains the resulting queue continue for miles and I suspect that anybody caught up in it would have been there for several hours.

also as Chambery is only small you could be lucky and have your luggage out quickly

we have managed to leave within 20mins of landing in the past Smile

Ah, now there's the rub.

I bet you have to wait at least an hour for the next incoming flight, you'll be subject to the compulsory beer and baguette stop at Moutier (IIRC) and will be in resort after multiple drop offs by mid afternoon.

But I may be wrong Twisted Evil
