Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Can I use all mountain skis for occasional freestyle skiing?

Going with a group to learn a bit of freestyle for 3 days. I just bought a pair of atomic vantage all mountain skis and I don’t want to have to pay any more money to rent freestyle skis. Will they work reasonably okay in the park? I know obviously they aren’t meant for freestyle but will they do the job for a few times? I’m an advanced skier but a beginner in terms of freestyle Smile

Shoud be fine, I've played around on all mountain skis on jumps plenty of times, also in the half pipe and fell off a few rails before realising that I am rubbish at them.
