You pretty much waste a day getting there and a day getting back! We just go from Munich but it normally means finishing up skiing at around 3pm which is only 1 hour lost I guess. Anyone looking for buddies to ski over weekends?
I am open to explore off the beaten tracks like Romania, Georgia, Andorra, Bulgaria, etc.
Long weekends or last minute to look for good snow.
High energy like mid 30s for the slopes.
Was advance skier for 15 years, beginner snowboarder. Now looking to get back to skiing.
So flexible to ski leisurely or explore trees or intermediate powder...

I'd definitely be up for trips to the likes of Romania, Serbia etc.
Admittedly, I don't think I can justify another trip without the mrs (beginner) this season....

Edinburgh/Scotland residents: Looking at getting some weekend trips in next season but struggling to work out the logistics! The ideal scenario would be to fly EDI to GVA on Friday night, transfer to either Portes Du Soleil or 4 Vallees (I have a PDS season pass) and catch a late flight back on Sunday having had 2 full days sliding, however I'm unable to find suitable travel options from Edinburgh.
Does anyone do weekend trips through GVA from Scotland? Am I missing a better option for outbound/inbound airports?
