PG, I refer to these as "angels" - I wouldn't be at all surprised if this effect was what people thought were gods/supernatural beings a few centuries ago! They are beautiful, although I haven't seen one myself yet this year - fab photos - thanks

Can't believe you lot have fallen for it again
PG's , Photos are actually taken from the film Star Trek 4, where 5 members of the "away team" were beamed up from the piste because they didn't have the right gear on.
ise's, 1st shot is from "ET" where the ship comes back to rescue the little fella at the end. His second shot is just a dirty lense.

PG, I started watching Stargate a few yrs ago and loved it, but then lost touch. Whatever happened to the dark haired english bird? There was simmering sexuality present between her and the lead fellow.

Frosty the Snowman, Claudia Black? She's coming back for series 10... She's Australian though, so I'm not sure if it's her you mean...? The other main lady character is a blonde, from memory?

Yeah, I know what you mean ise. I always struggle with snow/sun pics... sometimes you're lucky and sometimes it's a steaming heap of doggy doo. I like the silhouette one - good balance between the highlight and shadow. Would be a bug to try and play around with the histogram in that one. PG would be the master at the art with his skills, I'd have thought! Mind you, all you mountain-based chaps have an unfair advantage on the sun/snow/sky battlefield!

I dunno, she looks a bit mardy* to me... I'd have to show her the short-trunked pink elephant trick to crack a smile, I reckon...
*translators note: "mardy" - leicester expression for "a tad grouchy" also known as "got a right bag on"
