Anyone else have a list of things that they've not done yet, but want to?
Here's mine-
Ski Utah and Colorado.
Verbier.
Chamonix.
Vallee Blanche.
Monte Rosa valley.
Valluga to Zurs in St Anton.
Couloir extreme and the Blowhole in Whistler.
Corbett's couloir.
Grand couloir in Courchevel.
And finally, get fitter, and do some ski touring.
Anyone else?

Kramer, ski the Ruitor Glacier, a 20km off-piste route, every year we say we're going to do it and every year we somehow never get round to it.

Zermatt, Alpe d'Huez, Val d'Isere, Aspen. Vallee Blanche. Would like to say Corbett's, but don't think I'll ever have the stones for it!

I have a simple wish... just that the snow is always good enough for a good holiday whenever I go skiing with my friends & family. Have no interest in doing any of the so called "must do" runs. I was spoiled the first time I went when it snowed enormously for the week before I arrived and on the day itself, then was warm & sunny all week apart from midweek overnight when it dumped another half metre or so. I thought it would always be the same...

Drop dead one day (but not for a while) in the middle of a lesson - bit unpleasant for the clients, but brilliant for me!

To ski powder reasonably OK
Vallee Blanche
Whistler
Heli-ski anywhere ( after, of course, I've learned properly to ski powder )
and most importantly try and be fitter each time I go ( a practical impossibility due to work pressures at that time of the year always )

I'd be happy enough just to have good snow wherever I was, enjoy my trips and escape injury.
Some of the places listed I have visited, some I have not. Some, I have no desire to visit.
Colorado, Alpe d'Huez, Serre Chevalier, Ischgl would be nice to visit but I have no set plans at the moment.
My fantasy ski resort would have :-
A lift system like the Three Valleys
Snow like Cottonwood Canyons
Hotels like Switzerland
Travel arrangements like the Swiss fly/rail set up, where you book the luggage in at Heathrow and it arrives at your hotel door.
Nice trains like Switzerland/Austria, and indeed the weekend daytime TGV to Moutiers BSM.
Nice views like Switzerland/Dolomites.
Nice mountain restaurants like Switzerland/Austria.
Nice villages with gemutlicheit like Austria/Switzerland.
Cheap shopping opportunities like Andorra, USA.
Nice towns to check out when you are not skiing Austria Switzerland
It would also be cheap - but not crowded ?
.... and I would be able to speak the language France/ US

Canada.
Being able to speak French.
Dog sledding.
trying X-country skiing (and having Vincent Vittoz of the french team teach me )
Driving a piste groomer!!

Paul Mason, there you go again. A short list (if one item can be really considered a list) but you're still partaking in listing activity. I realise it must have taken great inner strength not to properly join in with this one but, for your own sake and for the sake of all easily influenced young folk in Birtley, get some help. Fast.
