Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Having not been to the EK in a few years, I'm wondering if there are any discounts on lift tickets for 18/19? I know previously there was the PassTignes where you could get 5% discount, but I don't remember any early bird discounts like you can get for the Portes du Soleil for example. Googling isn't revealing much other than the recently published prices for the upcoming season.

Only discounts I have seen is with likes of Ski Total - some weeks you will get "Buy one, get one half price" which is not a bad deal actually

Hi @Tordi,

There is an 'early bird' discount on EK season passes; here is the link (note American-format dates):

https://www.valdisere.ski/en/decouvrez-les-produits-val-d-isere#pass-saison

Not sure for regular weekly passes. Pop a note on the 'Tignes and the Espace Killy 2017/18 (Useful Links Page 1)' thread under 'Snow Reports - weather - snow conditions' as there are some more knowledgeable people on there fairlyregularly.

Last year I bought my season pass on the Tignes link equivalent to the one above and ended up paying a fair bit more. At the time I was smarting a bit from that, but I think there may be a difference in dates of validity that could explain it. The Val d'Isere one is valid from 24th Nov, whereas the Tignes one was from 14th Oct, namely, including pre-season glacier time. I think. Will know more when I come to sort out my pass for the coming season...

Other than for early bird or property owner/resort worker season passes, I don't know of any discounts worth having.

As @nelly0168, some tour operators are doing Buy One Get One Half Price deals on some dates - Crystal are, for a start.

@HoneyBunny, That'll be when they get an offer from the lift company then! At least Crystal are passing it on. Though some operators have been a little economical with the truth in the past - early dec passes are cheaper and I have seen them compared to a full season 6 day pass.

The Pass Tignes thing has finished and I am not sure what is replacing it. We will have to wait till they come back from holidays - so sometime in September.
