Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

ACL Rehab Physio in Brighton and/or midSussex

Hi Folks,

I am scheduled for ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair on May 14, and just wondering if anyone has experience with a physio in the Brighton area with experience of ACL rehab post-op.

Not ACL specific, but I've had good results at Radius, by the Cricket Ground http://www.radiushealthcare.co.uk/ and Mitch at Studio57 for general sports therapy http://studio57clinic.co.uk/

Thanks Rich, There's physioscience at the Indoor School at the county ground as well who seem to have some experience with ACLs. Hadn't heard about Studio57, but seems they take referrals from the Horder Centre so I will check that with my surgeon this week. Seems like I need to talk to a few folks and make a decision.

@SusEpic, Mitch has helped me recover from a number of injuries as well as general sports massage etc... He's generally my first port of call, or at least was as I've been injury free for about 2yrs now!

Thanks Genepi, I'm sure he does, but I always like to go into that kind of discussion well informed, and location of care can be important too. If I hadn't known a little bit before my first consultation I would have a doc looking after me who doesn't specialize in ACL reconstruction.
