IncogSkiSno, I haven't afforded diplomatic recognition to the "new" (1970s) county boundaries, that saw Bournemouth annexed by Dorset from Hampshire. I was miffed when my birthplace was moved from Lancashire to Cheshire. Years later I had the pleasure of voting to detach Herefordshire from Worcestershire (I lived about 50 yds from the boundary - the natural, geographic boundary of the Malvern Hills ridge line).
BTW, in deepest Surrey, its snowing - big heavy flakes, that are starting to settle. I'm the biggest of big kids when it comes to seeing it snow!

IncogSkiSno, yep I agree definately snow now, started off as hail for a few minutes then big fluffy flakes and now just light snow, it might be that with me being only 5 mins walk from the seafront I get very slightly different conditions
