Hi
A friend and her 10 year old son are stuck in Le Lac as the road out is closed and can’t get back to the Melezes. I don’t suppose anyone has a bed or a sofa they can offer her for the night?
Thanks
F

Sorry, can't help, but have just seen video of avalanche which has blocked the road. Impressive.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Let’s just hope nobody was on the road at the time!

Hopefully open at 11 tonight. Pretty impressive that they have managed to clear that much snow that quickly!

Emergency accommodation in Tignes Espace - just pitch up there and they will be looked after. Or call the local emergency number 04 79 40 04 93 for advice.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Blimey - we drove up there about 2 mins before. Amazing the fellas filling the pot holes on the corner we’re not caught in it!

They got home at 1.30. The little one had a lie-in this morning and then Evolution 2 were really good about switching his lesson to this afternoon. All ended well.
Thanks
