Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

You will have to check on the Web site but normally before mid November

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I paid €975 for this season. You needed to buy before the end of October to get this deal and you need to buy on the Val d'Isere website, not the Tignes one. They both work the same, but have different discount schemes.

Next year will be approx 3% more, so around €1k.

Not that I know of for a season pass, although there are family discounts for shorter duration passes. The STVI season pass has a break even point of around 19 days and is only available for adults.

As I'm sure you know, if you plan to work in the resort, it is available for even less. To keep your workers season pass active, you must take your work contract in several times a year, to prove you are still there and still working. The lift company can and do check up with your employer and with the French tax authorities. We don't have any French income so this doesn't work for us.

I presume there is no family deal as the kids get a ski pass through school.

Part of the difference in price between a Tignes season pass & a Val D'Isere one is the 'stolen week' the Tignes pass covers after the links to VD close.

Having a local address does open more discount doors yes!
