Poster: A snowHead
|
Hi all - looking to drive down through France in the next few weeks, with 2 year old in tow. Don't fancy dragging a travel cot all the way down there and back for the one night. We've stayed at Novotels previously, but wondered if there are any other chains that will offer cots. I'm guessing the more budget you go, the less likely. There's not much detail on the usual subjects web-sites. Anyone got any tips?

ChickenDhansak I'd say.....NOT..... you can always let the tot sleep in your bed if they don't have a cot ?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Timberwolf, Ah if only - tried that last time - far too excited by the whole thing. After a couple of hours we had to call in for a cot. Never mind I've heard it gets better... in 18 years of so.

Fair enough. Another thought for you, something we have recently bought for our 2.5 year old is
one of these . Inflates in a couple of minutes.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Good idea, now if I can only find where the bars go... Seriously, he may be a little young - only just 2 - to sleep without having some element of "containment" if I can use the phrase,so we know he's safe. Good looking product though.

It's amazing how quickly you forget stuff like that !!!!!!!!! Doh !!!
We had to take the bars off his cot at 20 months 'cause he was climbing out !!!!!

My brother has one of these for his son - he used it camping in the summer, when the boy was under 2 years old... I don't think it caused any problems... but my bro is quite relaxed with his son !
