Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Having never skied this late in the season before I was hoping that someone with more experience might advise me on which of these 2 areas would Be my best bet to get a bit of late season skiing in.

I wouldn't have an issue with either of these area's. I've skied in Alta badia from the 16th to the 23rd. and had excellant conditions even though it wasn't a particularly snowy season. If your really concerned about snow conditions then wait till closer to the time. No one knows whats going to happen in march weather wise, but based on the amount of snow already there, I really dont think you will have an issue this year.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Was just about to ask this question about the week before so good to see this answer - we're probably going to book flights to Innsbruck with the aim of heading to the Dolomites, but we'll divert to Austria if it's not looking so good (the joy of airbnb and car hire...)

I’ve skied in Madonna in the first week of April before and although the cinque laghe section was closed there was plenty left and we had a huge dump of snow while we were there. Madonna has a glacier too.
Never tried Sella Ronda that late, snow will clearly still be there but it might be quite slushy.
