Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

You said you'd give him £50-80 for his skis. That's not fair. It might be what an insurer would pay but we all know they skew the numbers in their favour on payout policy.
It's not quite what I said. I said £50-£80 to spend on a pair of skis that they sell you at trade price. Someone said that the shops have a 100% mark-up, so if a new pair of Mantras retails for £400 and you then had £80 to put towards the trade price of £200 then that seems semi-reasonable. The £80 was a figure just plucked at random anyway. Call it £120 and the total cost of upgrading to new skis would be just £80.

I would expect any shop worth their salt to offer you a new pair of skis, up to what you paid for the Mantras in 14. Surely they can afford to take a 500 dollar hit now, in return they have a happy customer who won't trash them on the internet/social media Very Happy and will likely continue to spend money there in the future and tell people how great their CS is...
